There are so many awards competitions, why choose the MarCom Awards?

MarCom Awards is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.

Since 1995, AMCP competitions have averaged about 10,000 entries a year. The organization supports its members through grants and programs. AMCP is one of the oldest, largest and most respected creative organizations in the world. > See More on AMCP

MarCom is run by career marketing & communication professionals.

MarCom’s administrators understand the importance of credible awards and the need for timely results. There is not a succession of extended deadlines that can result in a six-month wait from the time an entry is submitted, to the time when results are announced. MarCom judging is ongoing and results are announced 45 days after the initial deadline.

Judging is consistent and thorough.

Most of the judging takes place in-house by a select group of veteran industry professionals.  Entries are not scattered out to a large number of people who will lack consistency and may not have the time, desire or expertise to do a thorough job. Judges give each entry the time and effort it deserves.  In takes two months of full-time judging to review all the entries, as opposed to a couple of days walking by tables in a meeting room.

Entry fees are as reasonable as possible.

Fees are some of the lowest of any creative awards competition, thus inviting more entries and the possibility for winning awards for more clients. Those who submit more than one entry receive a break. > See Entry Fees

Winners are not required to purchase an award.

Unlike most competitions with entry fees under $100, every winner receives a free high-quality certificate suitable for framing.

MarCom gives back to those who give.

MarCom is the only creative competition that does not charge to enter work that is done pro bono.  In addition, MarCom partners with entrants who give back to their communities.  Over the past few years, over $70,000 has been contributed in support of charitable work performed by MarCom entrants.

MarCom recognizes those involved in community service and corporate social responsibility.

MarCom helps underwrite AMCP’s Communitas Awards, a program that each year recognizes several hundred individuals and companies for giving back to their communities and promoting environmental responsibility.
